I’m Derick, my journey into design started when I discovered the field of Human-Computer Interaction and decided to pursue a degree in Human Centered Design & Engineering at the University of Washington. That decision shaped how I approach design today—with empathy, curiosity, and a deep appreciation for systems thinking.

Most recently, I was a Product Designer at Match Group in the U.S. 🇺🇸, where I worked across core product, monetization, and innovation teams where I’ve led end-to-end design efforts.

I thrive on solving complex problems through thoughtful design strategy and close collaboration with my partners. Whether it’s shaping discovery flows, scaling systems across brands, or building tools that prioritize user trust, I enjoy creating meaningful, user-centered experiences.

Now back in Singapore 🇸🇬, I’m excited to bring my global experience home; bringing with me my fresh perspectives on product thinking!
